How To Prepare for Your Chimney Appointment

First things first: When is the best time to schedule your appointment? Good question. If your chimney, fireplace or dryer vent needs are routine in nature, you’ll enjoy the most scheduling flexibility and the quickest service if you schedule during our off-season (about February thru September). This also allows us to promptly be there for you when you’re dealing with a chimney or dryer vent emergency.

Ok, I’m Scheduled… What Now?

Once you’ve scheduled your appointment, there are a couple of things you can do to prepare for our visit:

  • To protect our technicians, please refrain from using the chimney, fireplace, stove or dryer vent being serviced or inspected 24 hours before your appointment.
  • Please clear a 5-6 ft. space around the fireplace to ensure that our technicians have plenty of room to place their equipment and perform their work. We especially ask that you remove all valuables or fragile items from the area.
